CASE BACKGROUND

With a track record of successful applications in various public events utilizing edge AI computer vision, Armitage was invited to provide crowd management and counting solution at the large public event named “The 75^th National Day Farm and Gourmet Festival” between 28^th September and 1^st October 2024, at Fa Hui Park in Mong Kok.

IMPLEMENTATION

At the Fa Hui Park, we installed the mobilizable high-pole surveillance named “AI Scope Pro”, which features video analytics and crowd tracking capabilities. The solution enables organizers to oversee visitors’ traffic in real-time, counting their entry and exit within the venue, as well as setting for desirable event capacity based on varying scenarios; once the threshold is approached or reached, the visual alert will appear on device screen accompanied by a textual notification sent to the appropriate personnel for prompt intervention.
