On 17 April 2023, Mr. Alvin Lee, CEO of Armitage was invited to play a speaker for the captioned seminar organized by GBA Finance and Commerce Association.  The seminar aimed to discuss the latest trend and now to betting making investment decision with use of AI.

At the part of talking about AI & Tech, Alvin shared his perspective that AI has automated many types of routine and repetitive tasks indeed.  It is an opportunity instead of crisis – AI is used in collaboration with human to improve productivity and efficiency, enhance decision-making, and create new opportunities for innovation.

AI is unlikely to completely replace human being in the near future.  Many jobs require a combination of technical and interpersonal skill that are difficult for AI to replicate.  Humans still play a role as decision-maker.  Nevertheless, human should always “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish”.  Humans should never consider themselves an expert but a foolish in order to learn more and keep constant improvement.

The audiences showed their enthusiasm and interest about the seminar with significant content.  Speakers and participants both enjoyed it so much and both of them found meaningfulness during the interaction.
