“SmartHK Blosters 2024: Hong Kong-Jiangsu Collaboration Expo” organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and co-organised by the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province as well as Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, concluded in Nanjing on 24th August 2024. The opening ceremony was officiated by HKSAR Government Financial Secretary – Paul Chan, Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government Vice Governor - Fang Wei, HKTDC Chairman Dr Peter K N Lam. In addition, there were some 40 leaders of business and academia explored Hong Kong-Jiangsu collaboration in the areas of financial services, innovation and technology (I&T), sustainable development, culture and creativity, including Chairman of The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority Board Henry Tang.
CEO of Armitage and Chairman of Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association (HKETA) - Mr. Alvin Lee, who led executive committees of HKETA to participate in the “Conference” to respond to SmartHK’s activities and conduct business exchange with industry stakeholders.
In the “Conference”, Alvin demonstrated AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) solutions to visitors from all walks of life. Alvin got started talking with some of the visitors about future business collaborations after they were enthusiastic about Armitage's solution. The “Conference” gave Armitage the opportunity to demonstrate its AIoT solution to everyone, as well as build relationships with potential clients and business partners.
The day after the “Conference”, Alvin and other visitors toured the showroom and factory of Nanjing TICA Energy Technology with the delegation of SmartHK Nanjing. The representative from TICA presented their international strategic layout and high-quality development path focused on ESG to the guests. During the exchange session, Alvin emphasized the importance of enterprises in promoting green transformation. Indicated by Alvin, as global emphasis on carbon reduction increases, the social responsibility of corporations is becoming increasingly prominent, making it essential to incorporate the concepts of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) into their business development strategies.
Lastly, Alvin expressed his gratitude to the team of Nanjing TICA for their warm reception and looked forward to further opportunities for cooperation.
