About the “Partner Employee Award”
Beyond business operations, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Hong Kong are encouraged to actively fulfil their social responsibilities. Launched in 2010 by “The Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business”, the “Partner Employee Award” scheme promotes the employment of local internship and tertiary education graduates. In 2014, the scheme was expanded to include persons with disabilities, rehabilitated individuals, retirees, ethnic minorities, and holders of Qualifications Framework-recognized credentials. The initiative aims to advance the development of an inclusive society, disseminate the importance of social responsibility, and inspire more enterprises to actively contribute to meaningful social causes.
